This book teaches you the fundamentals of the Can-Ryu Jiu-jitsu system, which is distinguished by its simplicity and teaching methodology. All the techniques in this book are based on gross motor skills and are designed to be simple enough to be learned in 3 minutes or less. As a result, these techniques do not deteriorate, even under conditions of extreme stress.
This book blends both physical and mental conditioning to prepare you for the high stress conditions of a self-protection combat situation. This includes training drills for increasing power, speed, strength, balance, and reaction time as well as high stress sparring drills, which apply your training and teach you to deal with the potentially debilitating effects of combat stress.
